On June 28, 2012, Sara Lee Corporation completed the spin-off off its international coffee and tea business and changed its name to The Hillshire Brands Company. In connection with the spin-off, the company transitioned its legacy of charitable giving from the Foundation to The Hillshire Brands Company's Corporate Contributions Program. As a result, the Sara Lee Foundation is dissolving and is no longer making grants or accepting funding inquiries.
