Employee Volunteer Grants Programs
The Sara Lee Foundation Volunteer Grants Program is designed to encourage active full-time Sara Lee Corporation employees to support eligible nonprofit organizations through volunteer service. Sara Lee salutes the efforts of its employees who volunteer and when Sara Lee employees commit their personal time, Sara Lee will contribute funds to the eligible organization that benefits from their service. Working together, we can make a difference in the communities where Sara Lee employees live and work.
If an eligible Sara Lee employee performs a minimum of 25 hours of eligible volunteer service on their personal time during the calendar year at one eligible organization, they can apply for a $250 (at a rate of $10 per hour) Sara Lee Volunteer grant. The maximum employee volunteer time that will be matched is 50 hours, for a $500 grant. Each eligible participant can apply for one (1) grant per calendar year.
Eligible volunteer service includes volunteer activities that benefit the general community including, but not limited to, board participation, committee work, fundraising, tutoring, mentoring, or neighborhood revitalization.

- colleges and universities (located in the Higher Education Directory)
